Built in 2004, this air-conditioned, 8 floor hotel has a total of 136 rooms. The hotel's facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange desk and a lift. ROOMS
The rooms at the Atlas hotel are all very spacious and have large comfortable beds. The rooms have both tiled and carpeted floor and come with satelitte TV, fridge/minibar and a table with chairs. The en-suite bathrooms are a very good standard and come with shower. There are large windows which make the rooms bright and airy. There is lots of cupboard space.
RESTAURANT
The breakfast room is a large open plan area that spills out to the lobby. There are a large number of tables and chairs and windows dominate the room offfering lots of natural light. Buffet breakfast is served daily. Lunch and dinner is not available, but the hotel is close to many excellent local restaurants.
EXTERIOR
A pleasant modern 6 storey building painted cream and yellow with glass windows running along the width of the first floor.
LOBBY
A very large lobby with the reception desk to the left as you enter. There is a seating area for guests on both sides of the entrance as well as a small internet booth. The hotel bar is on the right of the open plan lobby.
GENERAL
An excellent 3* hotel with spacious rooms. Guests will find even the quad rooms have plenty of space. The bar is open 24 hours and the staff are very helpful and offer good advice on local attractions. (AHJ 0705)
