(ph0905). the hotel is made up of two parts, the older main building and the more recently added annexe. there is also a sizeable conservatory, a great place for drinks in the evening and a much cooler place to relax when the weather is good. the rooms are medium sized and well maintained. all rooms are furnished to good standard and are clean and well presented. the rooms are traditional in decor and in keeping with the rest of the hotel. some of the rooms are in a annexe at the side of the main buliding and although externally these rooms look a little 'motel like' in style, internally they are of a good quality. all rooms include a hospitality tray, trouser press, colour tv, telephone, and hairdryer. there are a number of options for food at the hotel. they have a locally renowned indian restaurant and also an italian restaurant. there is a public house on site which serves typical british pub food and a selection of ales, wines and spirits with live entertainment available most friday/saturday evenings. the lobby is small in size with minimal seating and a small reception desk. this excellent value privately owned hotel is situated on the great west road, just a short taxi ride from london heathrow. 1/4 mile from osterley underground station (piccadilly line). by car from the west take m4 to junction 3, third exit at roundabout to the a4, at roundabout take the left exit (1st) and stay on the a4, pass underground station on the left, the hotel is on the left after the second set of trafiic lights. from london, m4 junction 2, follow a4 west towards heathrow after crossroads (gillette corner) the hotel is on the right at the next set of traffic lights.
