Renovated in 2000, this comfortable hotel, with an international atmosphere, comprises a total of 495 rooms spread over 8 floors, of which 5 are suites. Facilities include a bar as well as a café and lifts. In addition, guests are offered a restaurant with a non-smoking area as well as a car park and a garage for an additional fee.

ROOMS

The rooms are medium sized and decorated with dark wooden furniture and pastel colour schemes. They are only in fair condition as are the bathrooms and would ideally benefit from refurbishment.

RESTAURANT

The restaurant serves internatonal dishes, snacks and food from an a la carte menu. It is furnished with cane furniture, many plants, and overlooks the lobby area.

EXTERIOR

This is a purpose built hotel. A huge unattatractive concrete building.

LOBBY

The lobby is very large indeed with extensive use of marble, brass and glass decor. An abundance of green plants and comfortable seating areas offer a welcoming atmosphere.

GENERAL

This enormous hotel is well located and of a reasonable standard though the bedrooms come as a considerable disappointment compared to the rather grand public areas. RY1104
