The Four Seasons Hotel George V is a place of legend. The art deco building (listed in the National Inventory of Batiments De France) was entirely renovated in 1998-1999. The result is amazing! While the rooms and suites provide the standard "Four Seasons" luxury product it is the public rooms and facilities that stand out. They are decorated beautifully and flow from one to the other in such a way so as to encourage their guests to enjoy them and each other. The floral arrangements are, with out a doubt, spectacular! The health club and spa, which was more recently renovated, is an outstanding facility. It not only provides the latest equipment but a setting that inspires as well. At the moment it is the best hotel health club in Paris. Rooms The rooms are very large in size and in excellent condition. Rooms and bathrooms are fully equipped, luxurious and furnished in a wonderful style reminiscent of Louis XVI period. Restaurant There are 2 bar areas on the ground floor, where guests can enjoy drinks and light meals in a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant looks like a huge banquet room in a castle from the last century. All the rooms overlook the private garden, and very high windows give a lot of natural light. Exterior The hotel is an outstanding house with 8 floors, built in a very elegant Haussmann style. Lobby It is large in size and very luxurious, with impressive marble floors, huge pillars and glittering chandeliers. Guests are immediately welcomed by smiling staff, surrounded by grand decor. General This property is worthy of a superior deluxe classification, it looks like a real castle, steeped in history. (0805RJ)
